Γιώργος Παναγιώτου: Θα ήθελα να είμαι υποψήφιος Δήμαρχος στο Δήμο Πύλης
Αν ποτέ θα ήθελα να είμαι υποψήφιος Δήμαρχος, θα ήταν στο Δήμο Πύλης, σχολίασε μιλώντας σήμερα στη Λέσχη 97,6 ο πρόεδρος του δημοτικού συμβουλίου Τρικκαίων, Γιώργος Παναγιώτου « Σε μια δημοτική ομάδα ο επικεφαλής είναι ο Δήμαρχος, και οφείλουν όλοι οι υπόλοιποι, δημοτικοί σύμβουλοι, πρόεδροι κλπ να σεβαστούν την ιεραρχία. Οι προσωπικές φιλοδοξίες του καθενός πρέπει να παρακάμπτονται, και να υποτάσσεις τον εαυτό σου στην παράταξη. Διαφορετικά πρέπει να αποχωρεί αν υπάρχει κάποιος με τέτοιου είδους φιλοδοξία ή τέτοιο σκοπό.Για μένα είναι προτεραιότητα η εργασία μου και το προσωπικό μου δικηγορικό γραφείο, και όταν αποχώρησε ο Δημήτρης Παπαστεργίου το ’23 δεν μπορούσα μέσα σε δυο μέρες να πάρω μια απόφαση που θα άλλαζε όλη τη ζωή μου, και να τεθώ επικεφαλής της δημοτικής παράταξης κι έπειτα υποψήφιος Δήμαρχος.Δεν είπα ποτέ όμως ότι γενικά δεν θα το έκανα. Κανείς δεν λέει ποτέ στην πολιτική, αλλά θα είναι όταν εγώ θα είμαι έτοιμος. Αν ποτέ θα ήθελα να είμαι επικεφαλής και υποψήφιος Δήμαρχος, θα ήθελα να είναι στο Δήμο Πύλης. Εκεί ξεκίνησα, και εκεί θα ήθελα να κλείσει ο κύκλος της αυτοδιοίκησης.»
